The delicious and fishermen favourite coffee is the result of a long process that started over 100 years ago on a plantation in Chiapas Mexico. Café la Fortuna is a ‘Farm to Table”, small family business established in 1908. La Fortuna simply means “the fortune”.
The fields are planted with Arabica coffee plants with over 60 different types of trees that provide shade, enrich the soil, shelter for wild animals, and balance to the ecosystem. No harmful chemicals are used or discharged in their creeks or rivers and they roast daily.
